6 Simple Home Remedies To Control Hair Fall

Hair fall is one of the major reasons for worry among many people these days. 2. Fenugreek Seeds

Fenugreek seeds, also known as methi, is one of the most preferred and popular remedies in the country to prevent hair fall. These seeds contain many useful properties and hormone antecedents that help improve hair growth and treat many hair conditions like alopecia areata and other forms of baldness. Protein and nicotinic acid in fenugreek seeds also help hair regrowth.

The method of use:

Soak 3-4 tbsp. of fenugreek seeds in a glass of water. Leave it overnight. Make a paste of this mixture using a grinder. Apply this paste to your hair and leave it for 45 minutes before rinsing it off with a mild shampoo. Try this remedy twice a week for a month or two to prevent hair from falling out.

3. Indian Gooseberry

Indian gooseberry, commonly known as Amla in India is an excellent source of vitamin C. In fact, it is one of the most effective remedies to control hair fall and to improve the overall health of hair. If a deficiency of vitamin C is the reason behind your hair fall, then you should include this wonderful food in your diet and consume it as part of your hair loss control diet. It also contains many antibacterial, antioxidant and exfoliating properties that maintain the scalp and help in faster hair growth.

The method of use:

Mix 1 tbsp. of Indian gooseberry with 1 tbsp. of lemon juice. Mix well and massage the mixture into your scalp. Cover your head with the help of a shower cap, leave it overnight and wash your hair with mild shampoo in the morning.

4. Coconut Milk

Coconut Milk is not just healthy for your body, but it is also highly beneficial for your hair. Being a rich source of protein, minerals, and other essential nutrients, coconut milk is a perfect remedy to stop hair fall, prevent baldness and boost hair growth. It also gives a cooling sensation to your scalp and is even more effective than most hair fall control oil.

The method of use:

Coconut oil is very easy to use. All you need to do is to take 1-2 tbsp. of coconut oil and apply it onto the scalp. Leave it for 30 minutes and then wash your hair with a mild shampoo to get stronger and silkier hair.

5. Flax Seeds

As we all know omega-3 fatty acids are great for our hair and that is what makes flax seeds one of the most effective remedies to treat hair fall and promote hair growth. Flaxseeds are also a great source of quality fiber that does not only treat scaly and dry scalp but also help get rid of dandruff by nourishing your hair both internally and externally.

The method of use:

Prepare a powder of flax seeds and store it in a container. Now, to control hair fall, consume 1 tbsp. of flaxseed with a glass of water every day in the morning. You can also add 1 tbsp. of flax seed to salads, smoothies and your meals to control hair fall.

Mix two eggs, a teaspoon of honey and a little olive oil in a bowl and beat vigorously until the ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Using your fingers, apply this evenly across your entire scalp and leave it for about 20-30 minutes.

Once the pack has dried, simply wash it off with lukewarm water and a little shampoo. It’s important to let your hair dry naturally after washing for the best results.
