  • Dr. Subrahmanya Murti Velamakanni is a highly distinguished Interventional Cardiologist with an exceptional academic background and advanced international training. He is currently practicing as a Consultant in Interventional Cardiology at Manipal Hospital, Sarjapur Road, Bengaluru. A testament to his clinical excellence and depth of knowledge, Dr. Velamakanni was awarded the prestigious Dr. H.S. Wasir Gold Medal for securing the highest national score in the DrNB Cardiology exit examination (April 2023 session).

  • He completed his MBBS from the renowned Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in 2015, followed by an MD in General Medicine from NEIGRIHMS in 2019 and subsequently obtained his DNB in General Medicine. Driven by a strong passion for cardiac care, he pursued specialization in Cardiology, completing his DM in Cardiology from Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College in 2022 and later achieving his DrNB in Cardiology.
