Interventional Pulmonology Bronchoscopy:
Flexible fibreoptic bronchoscopy with endobronchial biopsy, trans-bronchial lung biopsy, endo-bronchial needle aspiration, trans-bronchial needle aspiration and bronchoalveolar lavage.
Advanced Bronchoscopy:
Endobronchial ultrasound (convex and radial) with guided aspirations and core-biopsy, electromagnetic navigation bronchoscopy, narrowband imaging.
Rigid Bronchoscopy:
Rigid bronchoscopy procedures including airways stenting, (SEMS and silicon stents), cryobiopsy, foreign body removal, Fogarty usage to identify BPF, APC for bleeding control electrocautery, decoring, LASER procedures.
Thoracoscopy:
Rigid and Semi-Rigid Thoracoscopy with interventions (plural biopsy, TALC poudrage and others).
Bronchial Thermoplasty:
For refractory asthma ICD Placement:
Experienced in emergency and elective intercostal tube placements, pigtail catheter placement, malecot’s catheter placement and tunnelled plural catheter placements with and without ultrasound guidance.
Thoracentesis:
Plural fluid aspiration and plural biopsy with and without ultrasound guidance.
General Pulmonology: Asthma, COPD, Interstitial lung disease, pulmonary vascular disease, respiratory infections including TB, lung cancer, pleural and mediastinal diseases, occupational lung diseases, lung transplantation and pulmonary rehabilitation.
Sleep disorders – OSA, CSA, OHS, insomnia, sleep movement disorders, parasomnias, hypersomnia, circadian sleep disorders, narcolepsy and polysomnography. Critical Care:
Intubation / Ventilation:
Experience in managing difficult airway with fibre optic intubation, video laryngoscopy, laryngeal mass airway, emergency cricothyroidotomy. Advanced Mechanical ventilation including HFOV (High Frequency Oscillating Ventilation), NAVA (Neurally adjusted ventilatory assist), ASV (Adaptive servo ventilation) and prone-ventilation.
Non-Invasive Ventilation (NIV):
Experienced in managing CPAP, BiPAP, AVAPS, ASV, Auto-PAP and HFNC (High Flow Nasal Cannula) with use of various interfaces including nasal mask, full face mask, nasal pillows and helmets.
Critical Care Ultrasound in ICU:
Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine (ISCCM) certified trainee experience in critical care ultrasound including USG chest (BLUE protocol, WATERFALL protocol, SESAME protocol), USG abdomen (including FAST – Focused Abdominal Sonography in Trauma), DVT screening, pelvic ultrasound, ultrasound – sinus/MCA/vascular ultrasound and others.
Echocardiography:
Evaluation of ejection fraction, stroke volume, valvular diseases, pericardial effusion and tamponade, pulmonary hypertensions and RWMA.
ECMO (Extra-corporeal Life Support):
Experienced in setting up ECMO (initiation, monitoring, maintenance and weaning from ECMO)
Invasive catheter placement:
Central venous catheters, arterial lines with and without ultrasound guidance.
