Dr. Pratyush Shahi is a globally trained spine surgeon at Manipal Hospital Mukundapur. In his practice of over 9 years, he has focused on minimally invasive and endoscopic spine surgery. He was awarded the prestigious 2-year Patty & Jay Baker Endowed Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery Clinical Research Fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), New York, USA where he had an excellent exposure to minimally invasive spine surgery using advanced technologies such as robotics and navigation. He further completed two dedicated endoscopic spine surgery fellowships at Wooridul Spine Hospital, Seoul, South Korea, a global leader in endoscopic spine surgery, and Saishree Hospital, Pune.

In addition, he completed a comprehensive ortho-neuro combined spine surgery fellowship at the Institute of Neurosciences Kolkata, gaining experience in complex degenerative, deformity, and trauma cases, along with an AO Spine Asia-Pacific Clinical Fellowship at Kothari Medical Centre, Kolkata.

Dr. Shahi is among the most academically active spine surgeons in India, with a strong focus on research in minimally invasive and endoscopic spine surgery. He has authored over 150 peer-reviewed publications and delivered more than 200 scientific presentations at national and international spine conferences.
