He did an observership under Prof Dr.Sita jayalakshmi, KIMS, hyderabad for video EEG telemetry and epilepsy surgery.
  • Special interests:- Dr. Guruprasad Hosurkar has special interest in management of Parkinson's Disease and other movement disorders. His skills include Botulinum toxin Injections for various movement disorders, screening patients with refractory epilepsies for surgery. Dr. Guruprasad Hosurkar now has rich experience of DBS in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders and is part of the team which successfully runs the programme at Columbia asia hospital, Yeshwanthpur, Bangalore. He has proctored neurologists in DBS therapy at few upcoming centres in the country.
