  • Dr. Deepti Ramachandra is a highly accomplished Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) and Multi-Organ Transplant Surgeon with expertise in living donor liver transplantation, complex HPB surgery, and advanced minimally invasive and robotic techniques, including robotic donor hepatectomy. She brings over a decade of structured surgical training and hands-on experience from premier institutions in India and abroad.

  • She completed her M.B.B.S from a renowned Medical College, Mangalore, followed by M.S General Surgery from a well-known Medical College, Bengaluru and M.Ch in Surgical Gastroenterology from an Institute of Medical Sciences, Rishikesh. She subsequently underwent advanced sub-speciality training through the Liver Transplant Society of India, in HPB & Multi-Organ Transplantation with training at a high volume transplant centres, including well-known hospitals. This provided her with extensive exposure to adult and paediatric living and deceased donor transplantation.

  • Dr. Ramachandra has significant experience in paediatric liver transplantation, including technically demanding split and mono-segment grafts. Her clinical expertise includes small bowel transplantation (living and deceased donor) for intestinal failure, kidney-pancreas transplantation, complex re-transplantation, and advanced care for patients with acute or acute on chronic liver failure patients. With a strong interest in minimally invasive and robotic HPB surgery, she has received focused training under renowned surgeons at the Japanese Cancer Research Foundation, Tokyo and Toronto General Hospital, Canada, laparoscopic living donor transplantation and small bowel transplant experience from the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio. Her keen interest in minimally invasive living donor transplant led her to spend time at the world-renowned Institute in Chennai, India. Her work integrates precision surgery with evolving technologies to enhance donor safety and patient outcomes.
