Robotic Surgery Gives Omani Man a Second Chance at Living | Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road
After being diagnosed with Cauda Equina Syndrome, 37-year-old Omani resident Mr. Mohammed Salem underwent a transformative robotic surgery that sparked a new beginning in his life. Dr. S. Vidyadhara, Chairman & HOD - Spine Surgery and Consultant - Robotic Spine Surgery at Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road, mentioned that in addition to the syndrome, Mr. Mohammed was also suffering from severe lumbar canal stenosis. After a successful robotic circumferential decompression and instrumented fusion surgery, Mr. Mohammed is now completely free of pain and ready to go back home. He is thankful to the Dr. Vidyadhara and the entire hospital team for their efforts to help him achieve a full recovery.
