Iraqi Patient Returns Home After Treatment | Dr. Srimanth BS | Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road
After years of living with social stigma and emotional pain due to her left arm, 19-year-old Iraqi resident Ms. Zainab Mohammed Jassim is finally returning home with a smile after the removal of two football-sized tumours in her arm, allowing her to regain complete functioning in her arm. Dr. Srimanth B.S, Lead Consultant - Orthopaedic Oncosurgery, emphasised the importance of early intervention. He proceeded to highlight that any lump greater than the size of a lemon must be examined by a cancer care specialist to rule out the possibility of a tumour or cancer.
