After procedure

Once stable, you will be moved to a regular nursing unit. Until you can eat and drink, you will be given IV fluids. After becoming stable, you will be given only liquid diets. Once the new kidney starts functioning correctly, solid food will be recommended to you.

You will have to follow some strict rules after being discharged from the hospital. Once you arrive home, you should follow the instructions of the healthcare providers.
