His special interests include minimally invasive surgery for gastrointestinal cancers, breast cancer surgery (Organ Conservation, Oncoplasty and Sentinel Node Techniques), and ERAS (Enhanced Recovery After Surgery) protocols in oncosurgery.

  • He has trained in centers of excellence in India and abroad and was the gold medalist in his post-doctoral MCh (surgical oncology) from Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology.
  • He was the first Indian recipient of the United States’ Society of Surgical Oncology International Career Development Award.
