  • Dr. Ashika Padival is a Gynaecological Oncologist with over 3 years of experience in complex cancer surgeries, clinical research, and academic publishing. She completed her MBBS at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, followed by an MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from SDM College and Hospital, Dharwad. She holds a DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as a FOGSI Fellowship in Infertility and Reproductive Medicine.

  • Dr. Padival also completed her MCh in Gynaecological Oncology from Gujarat Cancer Research Institute (GCRI) and secured 2nd rank in Gujarat University. She holds a DrNB in Gynaecological Oncology and is certified by the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO).

  • Dr. Ashika Padival is a Gynaecological Oncologist with over 3 years of experience in complex cancer surgeries, clinical research, and academic publishing. She completed her MBBS at Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, followed by an MS in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from SDM College and Hospital, Dharwad. She holds a DNB in Obstetrics and Gynaecology as well as a FOGSI Fellowship in Infertility and Reproductive Medicine.

  • Dr. Padival also completed her MCh in Gynaecological Oncology from Gujarat Cancer Research Institute (GCRI) and secured 2nd rank in Gujarat University. She holds a DrNB in Gynaecological Oncology and is certified by the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO).

  • Dr. Padival’s clinical expertise encompasses advanced cytoreductive surgeries for ovarian cancer, including complex procedures such as upper abdominal cytoreduction, peritonectomy, and Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC).  She performs open and laparoscopic radical hysterectomies for cervical and endometrial cancers, as well as specialised vulvar and groin interventions like radical vulvectomy and bilateral groin node dissections. 

  • Her practice also covers minimal access procedures, including total laparoscopic hysterectomies, cystectomies, and diagnostic pelvic laparoscopy and hysteroscopy. Additionally, she is experienced in preventive oncology and diagnostics, offering colposcopy, cervical cancer screening, and community preventive health initiatives. Alongside her clinical practice, Dr. Padival is involved in research, teaching, and academic activities. She served as a Bonded Assistant Professor at GCRI Ahmedabad and SCCRI Rajkot, and has trained medical staff in critical life support procedures.
