The PICU offers a full range of monitoring and support services for critically unwell children requiring intensive care for General and other specialities including Respiratory, Neurosurgery, Malignancy, Head Injury, multi-trauma, Liver, Renal, ENT, Paediatric Surgery, and other multidisciplinary facilities. We have a variety of ventilators to provide individualized ventilator strategies appropriate to the care of each child.
The PICU also provides intensive care for children requiring high-frequency ventilators, inhaled Nitric Oxide therapy, hemodialysis, plasma exchange, and ECMO thereby known as the Supra-Regional Referral Center for other PICUs.
