Dr. Poulomi Sarkar is a highly skilled Obstetrician, Gynaecologist, and Gynecologic Oncosurgeon with strong academic credentials and extensive surgical expertise associated with Manipal Hospitals Saltlake. She holds an MBBS, MS, and DNB in Obstetrics & Gynaecology, along with an AGOI-accredited Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology. During her oncology fellowship, Dr. Sarkar has developed expertise in open and minimally invasive oncologic procedures, including cytoreductive surgery, radical hysterectomy, pelvic and para-aortic lymph node dissection, omentectomy, vulvectomy, inguino-femoral node dissection, HIPEC, sentinel lymph node biopsy, and advanced laparoscopic surgeries. She has also assisted in over 300 robotic surgeries, reflecting her strong proficiency in modern surgical techniques.

Her clinical interests include preventive oncology, cervical cancer screening, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, management of hereditary cancers, and ablative and excisional procedures and infertility.
