  • Dr. Santosh Kumar is an experienced intensivist in Bangalore, currently practising as a Consultant – ICU at Manipal Hospital Malleshwaram, Bangalore.  His expertise includes establishing critical care units, implementing ultrasound applications in ICU settings, and guiding teams through the NABH accreditation process. Dr. Santosh completed his MBBS followed by an MD in Anaesthesiology, laying a strong foundation for critical care medicine. He is an experienced critical care specialist in Malleshwaram.

  • In clinical practice, Dr. Santosh excels in airway management, hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and regional and obstetric anaesthesia when ICU patients require procedures. He performs ultrasound-guided interventions, including central venous and arterial cannulations, chest ultrasound, FAST scans, and bedside echocardiography, to enhance diagnostic accuracy and procedural safety.
