  • Dr. T Seetam Kumar is an experienced interventional radiologist in Odisha, currently practicing as a Lead Consultant – Interventional Radiology at Manipal Hospital, Bhubaneswar. The advantage of expertise in imaging diagnosis with image-based minimally invasive management is the key to precision and a hybrid image-guided endovascular surgeon.

  • Dr. Seetam is the first NIMHANS-trained interventionist practicing in Odisha and a well-known clinical interventionist among peers in Odisha. His clinical approach combines detailed anatomical precision, evidence-based practices, and a focus on ensuring the best possible outcomes.

  • Over the years, he has performed over 500+ diagnostic cerebral and spinal angiograms and 500+ complex endovascular neurointerventional procedures, including aneurysm coiling, carotid angioplasty and stenting, AVM and dural AV fistula embolisation, and advanced stroke interventions.

  • His academic credentials include MBBS, MD, and DM in Neuro Imaging and Interventional Radiology (NIMHANS), with a strong foundation in advanced neuroimaging modalities of CT, MRI, and DSA. Added to that, he is the first Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiology (FRCR) (UK)-certified practicing radiologist in Odisha. At Manipal Hospital Bhubaneswar, Dr. Seetam is instrumental in building the first of its kind in Odisha to start comprehensive endovascular stroke management and establishing the first neuro and vascular interventional Radiology department. His practice strongly incorporates global protocols and imaging guidelines, ensuring world-class care in a local setting.

  • Dr. Seetam is exceptionally skilled in stroke imaging and intervention. He independently performs mechanical thrombectomy procedures, ensuring timely care for acute stroke patients. He also has extensive experience in vascular interventions in aneurysm management and treating chronic subdural haematomas through MMA embolisation. He also performs minimally invasive vascular and nonvascular procedures of the hepatic, gastrointestinal, and the rest of the body.

  • Patient care remains the core of Dr. Seetam’s practice. His multidisciplinary approach combines clinical accuracy with compassion, reassuring patients and their families during complex neurological evaluations or procedures, making him a highly respected figure in neuroradiology.
