    Tough times don't last, but tough people do.' Avid motorcyclist, Pooja Bajaj is a testament to that. Pooja, a gold medalist in state-level cycling was pulled by the thrill and excitement of motorcycles. Soon, she was traveling to many parts of the country and this became the reason she woke up with a smile on her face every day. On her journey to Spiti Valley one day, she faced a major road accident, leaving her clavicle bones severely fractured. After not being able to find satisfactory treatment in a hospital in Chandigarh, she visited Manipal Hospitals, Old Airport road where she was treated by Dr. Hemant Kalyan, HOD & Consultant- Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. With his expert care and her intense grit and determination, she defied all odds to get back on her bike.
