  • Dr. Archana Kumari is an Associate Consultant in the Department of Ophthalmology at Bhagwan Mahavir Manipal Hospital, Ranchi. Dr Archana Kumari is an acclaimed, dynamic Phaco and  Vitreo Retina surgeon with experience of more than half a decade in retinal diseases. After doing her MBBS from Medical College Kolkata, she did her MS in ophthalmology from Kolkata, where she was the best performer in her batch with many accolades to her credit. This was followed by super-specialisation, a long-term surgical fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal diseases. She has undergone training in leading National and International eye hospitals, namely Sankara Nethralaya, Kolkata; CBM-sponsored Lahan and Biratnagar Eye Hospital; Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore and LVPEI, Hyderabad. She is known for her outstanding surgical and medical outcomes (including a myriad of intravitreal injections and laser procedures) and has gifted vision to more than 5000 eyes via more than 2000 retinal surgeries.
