about

About Us

A guardian angel is someone who protects and defends. Very much like our guardians, who protect and defend hearts from cardiac diseases. Manipal Hospitals in association with the Times of India presents "Guardians of the Heart", an initiative to make every Indian heart-smart. Through a series of workshops and live demonstrations, we would like to make every citizen to be prepared for a heart emergency. With India being on the brink of becoming the heart disease capital of the world, it is now even more imperative for all of us to take charge of each others hearts and turn the tables and make way for our nation to become heart-smart and thus heart-healthy.
