    Overview

  • Dr. Indranil Das completed his medical graduation from Silchar Medical College , Silchar , Assam (India) affiliated to Assam University in the year 2003. After completion of the Internship he joined the Emergency medicine residency program at Apollo Gleaneagles Hospital, Kolkata(India)on 2006 and completed the Fellowship in Emergency Medicine on 2008 under the cerification from the RCGP-UK and Medvarsity Hyderabad. He then continued to work in Apollo Gleaneagles Kolkata as a Registrar in Emergency Department. He  then went abroad to United Arab Emirates and worked in a JCI accrediated Teaching Hospital named Tawam Hospital as a Senior Medical Officer in the Emergency Department. On 2012 he returned back to India and then joined the Masters of Emergency Medicine program affiliated to George Washington University, USA and completed his International Masters in Emergency Medicine on 2015. During the same period he also Completed his Membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, UK on 2015. He is among the first to use Telemedicine in 2002 at a remote place in North East India named Silchar and successfully helped patients in his home town to get expert consult from renowned Institutions in India. At the start of his carrier(2004) he was also a part of the state AIDS control society, Assam(India) and was an active physician providing treatment and counseling and teaching preventive measures to the patients suffering from HIV-AIDS.

  • Presently Dr. Indranil is working as an Incharge and Clinical Head of Department of Emergency Medicine at Manipal Hospital, EM Bypass kolkata, West Bengal. He was also Senior Concultant and Clinical Lead of Department of Emergency Medicine , fortis Hospital Delhi. Prior to that Dr. Indranil was a Consultant and Residency Director in the Institute of Emergency Medicine at Medeor Hospital located in the National Capital Region of India (Delhi-NCR). He also worked as Emergency and ICU consultant in a designated COVID Hospital in Gurgaon of Delhi-NCR. 

  • In the earlier institution he was working with a broad vision of developing the Emergency Medicine care for the rural and urban population of the India. His job and responsibility also included providing a state of the art EMS and community health care and prevention  and treatment of both medical and surgical emergencies. Being in a area with a multiple industrial townships and large MNC’s , Dr. Indranil is actively involved in Industrial worker safety and training of the workers in First Aid as per WHO guidelines. He is also a part of providing the Basic Emergency Care as laid down by WHO directives and National health and safety guidelines. The hospital where he is working has the broad vision of establishing a robust emergency care and pre hospital care for the community at large and lead a multifaceted team to provide the best emergency care through best technology, education , training and research.

  • Dr. Indranil was also the residency director for the Masters in Emergency Medicine(MEM) program  at  earlier institution which is affiliated to the Society of Emergency Medicine, India. As a special in interest in education and research, Dr. Indranil is actively involved in training of the residents of emergency medicine both in his institution and as visiting faculty to other institutions in India. He is also a national Faculty for the Society of Emergency Medicine in India and also the national Examiner of the MEM exam in India. He is also closely associated with the George Washington University(GWU), USA as a national faculty and has been an external examiner and research evaluator of the GWU-MEM program in India. His strong interest in education and training has also given him the scope to be a prestigious Intenational Examiner of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine(UK) for the OSCE exam in India. He was also a part of the team to organize the first OSCE exam for about 100 odd candidates appearing for MRCEM-OSCE exam on 2016 and 2017 at New Delhi, India. He has worked in various capacity in the Emergency Departments in North India and have trained several batches of Emergency Residents. He has also been the research guide of many ED residents and helping and guiding them in various projects.

  • Indranil has been actively involved in the training of the various provider courses of the American Heart Association and he been an Instructor first and then Course Director of the various AHA courses in India.He has also been a faculty of the Eu-SIM for simulation training of the emergency practitioner since last 2 yrs. He has shown his leadership skills in developing the basic emergency care and resuscitation skills among emergency residents in India. He is also an ACLS EP from Max institute of Medical Excellance.

  • Having worked as an emergency physician since last 17 odd years, Indranil has achieved many affiliation and respect in the field of emergency medicine in India. He received the prestigious ACEP scholarship to attend the ACEP conference on 2016 at Las Vegas from India. He was also given the role of conducting a workshop at ACEP 2016 for the ED residents to share the knowledge and experience of managing Obstetrical Emergencies in resource limited settings. He also was a part of the ED-ECMO workshop conducted for the first time in India on 2019 at New Delhi. Besides being a faculty in various Emergency Medicine conferences in India(EMCON) he was also a part of organizing committee of the Asian Conference of Emergency Medicine in India on November 2019. He was the Chairman of the pre-Conference workshops and successfully conducted and managed 14 pre-conference workshops from 5th to 7th November 2019, for ACEM 2019, New Delhi, India. Besides this he received the prestigious International scholarship award for the best Research Presentation at the International Conference of Emergency Medicine (ICEM 2019) at Seoul, South Korea. Received Global EM Leadership Award for ACEP 2020. He has also been an active member of the Disaster Medicine Special Interest Group of the IFEM. Apart from this he has also been nominated as the Advisor of the International Student Association of Emergency Medicine(ISAEM) from India.  Besides these Dr. Indranil has been nominated to attend the Radiation emergency Medicine course for representing India at Japan on 2020.In 2022 Dr. Indranil Das has been selected to attend the IVLP at USA for 3 weeks Indo-US exchange programme. The theme for IVLP is COVID and Post COVID health care status. Was the invited Faculty for Trauma Resuscitation, Pearls and Pitfalls at ICEM 2024, Taiwan.  Invited delegate for EZECON 2025 at Kolkata. Indranil is also leading the COLS(Compression Only Life Support) training at Kolkata and adjoining areas and have trained more then 3000 lay person on CPR skill.

  • Indranil also has a number publications in his name , published in national and international Emergency Medicine Journal and have pioneered in guiding the emergency residents for publication and presentations in various conferences in India. By attending AAEM Scientific Assembly  I would be able to share my experience of working in India and seeing the development of Emergency Speciality in India and the extensive works done and researches conducted in this speciality in last 20yrs. Will be able to know and learn the latest updates in EM and the upcoming trends of AI in EM and Climate Change in EM.

  • Apart from practicing core emergency medicine , Indranil has also been the medical lead for the Indian Premier League and Indian soccer league  for Team representing Delhi, India. He has also successfully lead a team of doctors for giving medical and emergency cover during the UTT championship held at New Delhi on 2018. A cool team member of an emergency department, Indranil also has a special affection for singing and cooking in his leasure time.

He then continued to work in Apollo Gleaneagles Kolkata as a Registrar in Emergency Department. He  then went abroad to United Arab Emirates and worked in a JCI accrediated Teaching Hospital named Tawam Hospital as a Senior Medical Officer in the Emergency Department. On 2012 he returned back to India and then joined the Masters of Emergency Medicine program affiliated to George Washington University, USA and completed his International Masters in Emergency Medicine on 2015. During the same period he also Completed his Membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, UK on 2015. He is among the first to use Telemedicine in 2002 at a remote place in North East India named Silchar and successfully helped patients in his home town to get expert consult from renowned Institutions in India. At the start of his carrier(2004) he was also a part of the state AIDS control society, Assam(India) and was an active physician providing treatment and counseling and teaching preventive measures to the patients suffering from HIV-AIDS.

  • Presently Dr. Indranil is working as an Incharge and Clinical Head of Department of Emergency Medicine at Manipal Hospital, EM Bypass kolkata, West Bengal. He was also Senior Concultant and Clinical Lead of Department of Emergency Medicine , fortis Hospital Delhi. Prior to that Dr. Indranil was a Consultant and Residency Director in the Institute of Emergency Medicine at Medeor Hospital located in the National Capital Region of India (Delhi-NCR). He also worked as Emergency and ICU consultant in a designated COVID Hospital in Gurgaon of Delhi-NCR. 

  • In the earlier institution he was working with a broad vision of developing the Emergency Medicine care for the rural and urban population of the India. His job and responsibility also included providing a state of the art EMS and community health care and prevention  and treatment of both medical and surgical emergencies. Being in a area with a multiple industrial townships and large MNC’s , Dr. Indranil is actively involved in Industrial worker safety and training of the workers in First Aid as per WHO guidelines. He is also a part of providing the Basic Emergency Care as laid down by WHO directives and National health and safety guidelines. The hospital where he is working has the broad vision of establishing a robust emergency care and pre hospital care for the community at large and lead a multifaceted team to provide the best emergency care through best technology, education , training and research.

  • Dr. Indranil was also the residency director for the Masters in Emergency Medicine(MEM) program  at  earlier institution which is affiliated to the Society of Emergency Medicine, India. As a special in interest in education and research, Dr. Indranil is actively involved in training of the residents of emergency medicine both in his institution and as visiting faculty to other institutions in India. He is also a national Faculty for the Society of Emergency Medicine in India and also the national Examiner of the MEM exam in India. He is also closely associated with the George Washington University(GWU), USA as a national faculty and has been an external examiner and research evaluator of the GWU-MEM program in India. His strong interest in education and training has also given him the scope to be a prestigious Intenational Examiner of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine(UK) for the OSCE exam in India. He was also a part of the team to organize the first OSCE exam for about 100 odd candidates appearing for MRCEM-OSCE exam on 2016 and 2017 at New Delhi, India. He has worked in various capacity in the Emergency Departments in North India and have trained several batches of Emergency Residents. He has also been the research guide of many ED residents and helping and guiding them in various projects.

  • Indranil has been actively involved in the training of the various provider courses of the American Heart Association and he been an Instructor first and then Course Director of the various AHA courses in India.He has also been a faculty of the Eu-SIM for simulation training of the emergency practitioner since last 2 yrs. He has shown his leadership skills in developing the basic emergency care and resuscitation skills among emergency residents in India. He is also an ACLS EP from Max institute of Medical Excellance.

  • Having worked as an emergency physician since last 17 odd years, Indranil has achieved many affiliation and respect in the field of emergency medicine in India. He received the prestigious ACEP scholarship to attend the ACEP conference on 2016 at Las Vegas from India. He was also given the role of conducting a workshop at ACEP 2016 for the ED residents to share the knowledge and experience of managing Obstetrical Emergencies in resource limited settings. He also was a part of the ED-ECMO workshop conducted for the first time in India on 2019 at New Delhi. Besides being a faculty in various Emergency Medicine conferences in India(EMCON) he was also a part of organizing committee of the Asian Conference of Emergency Medicine in India on November 2019. He was the Chairman of the pre-Conference workshops and successfully conducted and managed 14 pre-conference workshops from 5th to 7th November 2019, for ACEM 2019, New Delhi, India. Besides this he received the prestigious International scholarship award for the best Research Presentation at the International Conference of Emergency Medicine (ICEM 2019) at Seoul, South Korea. Received Global EM Leadership Award for ACEP 2020. He has also been an active member of the Disaster Medicine Special Interest Group of the IFEM. Apart from this he has also been nominated as the Advisor of the International Student Association of Emergency Medicine(ISAEM) from India.  Besides these Dr. Indranil has been nominated to attend the Radiation emergency Medicine course for representing India at Japan on 2020.In 2022 Dr. Indranil Das has been selected to attend the IVLP at USA for 3 weeks Indo-US exchange programme. The theme for IVLP is COVID and Post COVID health care status. Was the invited Faculty for Trauma Resuscitation, Pearls and Pitfalls at ICEM 2024, Taiwan.  Invited delegate for EZECON 2025 at Kolkata. Indranil is also leading the COLS(Compression Only Life Support) training at Kolkata and adjoining areas and have trained more then 3000 lay person on CPR skill.

  • Indranil also has a number publications in his name , published in national and international Emergency Medicine Journal and have pioneered in guiding the emergency residents for publication and presentations in various conferences in India. By attending AAEM Scientific Assembly  I would be able to share my experience of working in India and seeing the development of Emergency Speciality in India and the extensive works done and researches conducted in this speciality in last 20yrs. Will be able to know and learn the latest updates in EM and the upcoming trends of AI in EM and Climate Change in EM.

  • Apart from practicing core emergency medicine , Indranil has also been the medical lead for the Indian Premier League and Indian soccer league  for Team representing Delhi, India. He has also successfully lead a team of doctors for giving medical and emergency cover during the UTT championship held at New Delhi on 2018. A cool team member of an emergency department, Indranil also has a special affection for singing and cooking in his leasure time.

  • Overview

  • Dr. Indranil Das completed his medical graduation from Silchar Medical College , Silchar , Assam (India) affiliated to Assam University in the year 2003. After completion of the Internship he joined the Emergency medicine residency program at Apollo Gleaneagles Hospital, Kolkata(India)on 2006 and completed the Fellowship in Emergency Medicine on 2008 under the cerification from the RCGP-UK and Medvarsity Hyderabad. He then continued to work in Apollo Gleaneagles Kolkata as a Registrar in Emergency Department. He  then went abroad to United Arab Emirates and worked in a JCI accrediated Teaching Hospital named Tawam Hospital as a Senior Medical Officer in the Emergency Department. On 2012 he returned back to India and then joined the Masters of Emergency Medicine program affiliated to George Washington University, USA and completed his International Masters in Emergency Medicine on 2015. During the same period he also Completed his Membership of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine, UK on 2015. He is among the first to use Telemedicine in 2002 at a remote place in North East India named Silchar and successfully helped patients in his home town to get expert consult from renowned Institutions in India. At the start of his carrier(2004) he was also a part of the state AIDS control society, Assam(India) and was an active physician providing treatment and counseling and teaching preventive measures to the patients suffering from HIV-AIDS.

  • Presently Dr. Indranil is working as an Incharge and Clinical Head of Department of Emergency Medicine at Manipal Hospital, EM Bypass kolkata, West Bengal. He was also Senior Concultant and Clinical Lead of Department of Emergency Medicine , fortis Hospital Delhi. Prior to that Dr. Indranil was a Consultant and Residency Director in the Institute of Emergency Medicine at Medeor Hospital located in the National Capital Region of India (Delhi-NCR). He also worked as Emergency and ICU consultant in a designated COVID Hospital in Gurgaon of Delhi-NCR. 

  • In the earlier institution he was working with a broad vision of developing the Emergency Medicine care for the rural and urban population of the India. His job and responsibility also included providing a state of the art EMS and community health care and prevention  and treatment of both medical and surgical emergencies. Being in a area with a multiple industrial townships and large MNC’s , Dr. Indranil is actively involved in Industrial worker safety and training of the workers in First Aid as per WHO guidelines. He is also a part of providing the Basic Emergency Care as laid down by WHO directives and National health and safety guidelines. The hospital where he is working has the broad vision of establishing a robust emergency care and pre hospital care for the community at large and lead a multifaceted team to provide the best emergency care through best technology, education , training and research.

  • Dr. Indranil was also the residency director for the Masters in Emergency Medicine(MEM) program  at  earlier institution which is affiliated to the Society of Emergency Medicine, India. As a special in interest in education and research, Dr. Indranil is actively involved in training of the residents of emergency medicine both in his institution and as visiting faculty to other institutions in India. He is also a national Faculty for the Society of Emergency Medicine in India and also the national Examiner of the MEM exam in India. He is also closely associated with the George Washington University(GWU), USA as a national faculty and has been an external examiner and research evaluator of the GWU-MEM program in India. His strong interest in education and training has also given him the scope to be a prestigious Intenational Examiner of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine(UK) for the OSCE exam in India. He was also a part of the team to organize the first OSCE exam for about 100 odd candidates appearing for MRCEM-OSCE exam on 2016 and 2017 at New Delhi, India. He has worked in various capacity in the Emergency Departments in North India and have trained several batches of Emergency Residents. He has also been the research guide of many ED residents and helping and guiding them in various projects.

  • Indranil has been actively involved in the training of the various provider courses of the American Heart Association and he been an Instructor first and then Course Director of the various AHA courses in India.He has also been a faculty of the Eu-SIM for simulation training of the emergency practitioner since last 2 yrs. He has shown his leadership skills in developing the basic emergency care and resuscitation skills among emergency residents in India. He is also an ACLS EP from Max institute of Medical Excellance.

  • Having worked as an emergency physician since last 17 odd years, Indranil has achieved many affiliation and respect in the field of emergency medicine in India. He received the prestigious ACEP scholarship to attend the ACEP conference on 2016 at Las Vegas from India. He was also given the role of conducting a workshop at ACEP 2016 for the ED residents to share the knowledge and experience of managing Obstetrical Emergencies in resource limited settings. He also was a part of the ED-ECMO workshop conducted for the first time in India on 2019 at New Delhi. Besides being a faculty in various Emergency Medicine conferences in India(EMCON) he was also a part of organizing committee of the Asian Conference of Emergency Medicine in India on November 2019. He was the Chairman of the pre-Conference workshops and successfully conducted and managed 14 pre-conference workshops from 5th to 7th November 2019, for ACEM 2019, New Delhi, India. Besides this he received the prestigious International scholarship award for the best Research Presentation at the International Conference of Emergency Medicine (ICEM 2019) at Seoul, South Korea. Received Global EM Leadership Award for ACEP 2020. He has also been an active member of the Disaster Medicine Special Interest Group of the IFEM. Apart from this he has also been nominated as the Advisor of the International Student Association of Emergency Medicine(ISAEM) from India.  Besides these Dr. Indranil has been nominated to attend the Radiation emergency Medicine course for representing India at Japan on 2020.In 2022 Dr. Indranil Das has been selected to attend the IVLP at USA for 3 weeks Indo-US exchange programme. The theme for IVLP is COVID and Post COVID health care status. Was the invited Faculty for Trauma Resuscitation, Pearls and Pitfalls at ICEM 2024, Taiwan.  Invited delegate for EZECON 2025 at Kolkata. Indranil is also leading the COLS(Compression Only Life Support) training at Kolkata and adjoining areas and have trained more then 3000 lay person on CPR skill.

  • Indranil also has a number publications in his name , published in national and international Emergency Medicine Journal and have pioneered in guiding the emergency residents for publication and presentations in various conferences in India. By attending AAEM Scientific Assembly  I would be able to share my experience of working in India and seeing the development of Emergency Speciality in India and the extensive works done and researches conducted in this speciality in last 20yrs. Will be able to know and learn the latest updates in EM and the upcoming trends of AI in EM and Climate Change in EM.

  • Apart from practicing core emergency medicine , Indranil has also been the medical lead for the Indian Premier League and Indian soccer league  for Team representing Delhi, India. He has also successfully lead a team of doctors for giving medical and emergency cover during the UTT championship held at New Delhi on 2018. A cool team member of an emergency department, Indranil also has a special affection for singing and cooking in his leasure time.
