Atrial Fibrillation is a condition of an electrical abnormality in which the heart rate and the pulse become irregular. It's a condition that leads to a lot of consequences in which a patient may not be symptomatic, but still, are dire. The biggest consequence is stroke. The Indian Heart Rhythm Association is promoting Atrial Fibrillation Education Month this December, to promote awareness among the general population, as it can be asymptomatic in a large number of patients and the first presentation could be a stroke.
